Thanking the people of North Fremantle, Mosman Park, Peppermint Grove, Cottesloe, Swanbourne, Claremont, Mount Claremont, and City Beach!

This week I had the honour of delivering my inaugural speech in Parliament as the newly elected Member for Cottesloe, Shadow Treasurer, and Shadow Minister for Women’s Interests.

Reflecting on my journey from growing up on a dairy farm in Dardanup to my current role, I shared my deep gratitude for the unwavering support of my family and friends and honoured past Members of Cottesloe. I also expressed my heartfelt thanks to the people of North Fremantle, Mosman Park, Peppermint Grove, Cottesloe, Swanbourne, Claremont, Mount Claremont, and City Beach for their trust and faith in electing me.

In my speech, I outlined my vision to enhance and preserve our beautiful suburbs so future generations can enjoy the enviable lifestyle we all love. I emphasized our deep shared sense of community, thanks to the many volunteer groups and organizations we have across the Electorate. I talked about the need to champion small and medium businesses as well as larger private enterprises by reducing regulations. I gave my commitment to diligently scrutinize Labor’s spending to ensure value for money for Western Australian taxpayers.
